Safety routines

  • Check-in at the door

A teacher meets you at the room door, finds your child on the reservation list and hands your child back at the end of the block.

  • Pickup list

We release a child only to an adult on your pickup list, and we ask for photo ID from anyone we don't know.

  • Cots and rest

Infants sleep on their backs, in their own cot, with nothing else in the cot. An older child who is tired rests on a mat, with a teacher in the room.

  • Allergies

Tell us about any allergy when you register. Once your child is enrolled, we ask again in private.

  • Clean hands

Everyone washes hands on arrival, before snack and supper, and after outdoor play.

  • Drills

Each block practices fire and weather drills with the teacher who leads it.

How a block works

  1. 01

    Step 1: Register once

Tell us about your family and who may pick up your child. We ask what we need privately once your child is enrolled.

  2. 02

Step 2: Reserve the day before

Choose a block, or the hours inside one, by the day before. If a block is full, join the waitlist and we text you when a place opens.

  3. 03

Step 3: Arrive at the door

A teacher meets you at the room door, finds your child on the list and settles them in before you go.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Pick up

A teacher hands your child back to you, or to someone on your pickup list, and tells you how the block went.

Questions parents ask first

What ages do you take?

From 6 weeks to 5 years. Babies have a corner of their own with cots and a rocking chair, and the older children share the long table and the story corner.

How do I reserve a time?

Register once, then choose a block by the day before. We confirm by text, and we take walk-ins when there is room.

How long can my child stay in a day?

A child can stay for one block, for two in a row, or for the hours inside one, up to eight hours in a day. Tell us when you reserve if your appointment may run long.

Do you take walk-ins?

When there is room, yes. Reserving a time the day before is the surest way to have a place, and it lets us plan the teachers for the block.

What does the license mean?

The state of Colorado licenses Bedtime as a child care center, up to the capacity on the license. Our license number is at the bottom of every page, with a link to look it up.

How many adults are with the children?

Each age group has its own number of children per adult, set by the state for licensed centers.

How does tuition work?

It depends on your child's age and the hours you reserve. We give you the figures in writing when you register.

What if the block I want is full?

Join the waitlist when you reserve. When a place opens, we text the family that has waited longest for that age first.
